SaMaroli Fiji Rum 2001 is a single cask rum, aged in Scotland for 14 years from selected cask No.25. Bottled in small quantities by independent bottler SaMaroli. This is a limited edition of 420 numbered bottles of 500ml.

SaMaroli Fiji Rum 2001 Tasting Notes

Aroma The nose is waxy, full of dried fruit with a lacquer undertone.
Taste Rich and complex; notes of sweet vanilla, liquorice and spices such as pink pepper and nutmeg are followed by notes of beeswax and cedar.
Finish Long and clean.

Age 14 years old.
Edition Limited, only 450 bottles were produced.

Silvano Samaroli has been selecting and bottling the world's best whiskies and rums since 1968. At the time he was the only non-British or non-Scottish person to do this work, his experience of almost 50 years ensures that only matured casks that have reached their pinnacle are carefully selected using traditional and innovative methods to expose the spirits profile and complexity maintaining their harmonious balance and uniqueness.

SaMaroli is an independent bottler that produces rums from single casks, which are carefully selected one by one; each bottle is numbered and dated. The maturation is carried out in Scotland, where the climate is cooler than in the Caribbean allowing longer ageing, for cleaner and more elegant rums.
