A distillery exclusive and part of a special collection that can only only be bought at the distillery. Each bottling focuses on a particular element of the whisky.

As the name indicates, this Miyagikyo Fruity & Rich is specially mild and fruity compared to the more powerful taste of Yoichi malts.

Über den Hersteller:
The Miyagikyo Distillery

Located in the valley of Miyagi, north of Japan's Honshu island.

Founded in 1969 by Masataka Taketsuru, a Japanese businessman who travelled to Scotland to study Chemistry and had the opportunity to learn the art of Master blending, becoming the first Japanese to produce whisky at the time.

The Miyagikyo is the second distillery after the Yoichi, intended to deliver a different style of whisky. Single Malts are produced in eight pot stills and Grain whiskies are produced in two Coffey Stills. Miyagikyo whiskies are known for their floral and fruity flavour profile.
